Welcome to our home!

We are living in challenging times, says our Bishop. In fact to be a parish is to face that challenge not just now but always, it is our call. To be a home for all, a welcoming community that cares about each one. Our church is open for all Masses. But our challenge to share the Spirit of Jesus remains as powerful as ever. Communion is the bedrock of our faith as Catholic Christians. Communion with Christ and through Him with with the rest of Creation is our mission. Sadly, some of our Parishioners will not be able to come to Church and will continue to receive Christ spiritually.  Our task is to continue that mission, a Mission to Communion, said St. John Paul 11. Our mission journey began just over 15o years ago in 1870 in Prudhoe Hall. The parish community that began then is still our home, open and welcome to all.
